On the 17th of December 2023 the EEEEK School for disadvantaged children welcomed representatives of the INME project from Asterias Swimming Club who presented the project’s actions to the principal, the teachers, the helping staff and the school’s students.
They all attended a power point presentation with photographs and videos of children from the three partner countries who participated in activities and sports like yoga, judo, Tae Kwon Do, Trampoline, Dancing along with typical athletes in connection with the INME project.
The aim of the visit was not only the presentation of the INME project but the encouragement and urge of the children to dare to try themselves their participation in a sport or an activity with other typical participants.
Time has changed and the need for inclusion is becoming more and more imperative. Everybody has the right to equal opportunities and to the same activities regardless of their peculiarities.
